I know Cardiff Ajax did something similar but under their own steam with a support van. If you think about the math, £100 per rider x 5 £500 (imagine what you could do with that!). You could simply look to rent or insure someone in a club members van for a couple of days who could provide food/drink/shelter as you ride plus make it more personal. Why not end in Saundersfoot rather than Chepstow?

Staying clear of the Dragon out of principle regarding the cost. Three years ago the Dragon cost £30, this year starting price is £52.50 rising to £92.50. (Potentially 10% of the bike I’ve got my eye on).

Don’t get me wrong, nice ride and I hope those signed up have a lovely day however, I feel across the board prices are getting ridiculous.

In theory yes, I’ll be staying in Cardiff on Saturday night and leaving in wave 16 at 8.50, which I think is the same one as you.

If you want to print everything off with copies of your ID and drop it over to mine in Clunderwen then we can meet on the day before we head into the pens. I should also be at the AGM on Friday but I’m not 100% certain.

Just a note, it states on the website that transfers cannot be made, a way around this might be to supply some ID to who ever buys it as you need to register for this event.

Otherwise there is a partial refund available via the FAQs.
