I’d like to echo the comments already made, wonderful support by all out there. I wasn’t much use on the jog so all I could do was make my way round and support everyone I recognised!

The help from volunteers was amazing, the whole race felt as if everyone knew you personally and were rooting for you. Amazing experience, I’ve done it three time now and that was the best for support. Scary thoughts about where next year is going! Hard effort to top!

To all the other Dynamo Ironmen, Chapeau! You have secured your bragging rights! Magnus Backstedt said the day after in his interview that the bike course was best described as ‘savage’. Anyone who wins the Paris-Roubaix has clearly earned the right to define a course so…

Savage it is.

Just for clarity. Bring my own turbo bike and I can use one of the bike computers? Mines just died! Grr. Unless do Garmin Edges work on turbos?

Being collected on the Angel is becoming habit forming Andrew! First year you chase me out of Nevern. Last year we duked it out/supported each other up the Ingli. I’d like to apologise for not being there for you this year. There was a clash and I was doing silly things on the Sarn Helen. What a mean ride!

I’m counting on it being a sensible ride. I’m leaving everything I have on the Sarn Helen on Sunday, I’m so far behind on my training regime I need to do something daft to pick things up.

After the Sarn Helen, there will be no bounce left in my legs, I need a sensible ride up to Cardiff so we can all enjoy the Carten. Especially as there is the small matter of the 20 miles to Narberth to meet you guys and the final 20 miles home from Tenby!

Are we meeting the Aces as well? Seems silly for two groups to travel up separately.

I’m coming as well, Sue has a course in Cardiff that weekend so I’ll ride out from Milford with Rob Allen and possibly a few others, I’m guessing the Dynamos are joining forces with the Aces for this little undertaking?

I’ll be staying in a small hotel in Cardiff with Sue and rejoin everyone for the Carten proper. Looking forward to the challenge. Will have very tired legs following the Sarn Helen the previous Sunday. Hey ho!

Total Miles for 2012, mostly turbo, then road bike, running and finally swimming… 11,002.

This year I propose to ride considerably fewer miles. During Turbovember I clocked, 4000 minutes in a dumb competition with someone else! Good fun but very hard!

You guys can’t have done the short loop, you were going the wrong way! Although you looked a fine phalanx of Dynamos as you flew past us on the ridgeway.
