‘She who must be obeyed’ and myself will be up early and riding elsewhere tomorrow due to time constraints however wishing all those taking part the very best hope you have lovely weather and clear roads.
Good turnout from the dynamos again. Plenty of dynamo tops on show. Started off all together but as usual got split after about 6/8 mile.
Flapjack, goose and myself got a fair pace going and within a couple of miles looked back and saw no one. We looked at each other and deliberated for a while on what to do. Slow down for the bunch or chase the group ahead which contained Graham.
I blame flapjack and goose for the decision to put the hammer down and chase the group ahead. We caught them up and had a great ride at a decent pace all the way back.
Hope the rest of the dynamos had a good ride and got back safe. Sorry didn’t see you all at the finish. Had to start cycling home before I started to stiffen up!
So you just left Tom on his own? He was with you when I dropped back to the rest of the Dynamos.
Last I saw was you and Tom were with us then, as I said there was just us 3. I thought both of you dropped back together. Did you not see Tom again? I hope he got back ok. I feel awful now.
If tom was the young guy then he was finishing as I was driving out of the rugby club so he made it back safely!!
Really enjoyed it today thanks guys!! Thanks butcher boy for the drafting and fast pace really pushed myself today. Look forward to the next one!
i was never going to keep with you three for 50 miles at that speed!! I had a great ride anyway on my own
He wasn’t with us but sounds like he made it back safely.
We need to make sure when juniors come out with us that someone is nominated to stay with them (preferably one who can keep up!)
In defence of butcher boy he did ask about Tom and we all agreed that he would be ok with the remaining trailers so we pushed ahead. I’m pleased to say that I got home in one piece this time, thoroughly enjoyed the morning, good route and weather.
Point noted though and agreed about the wellbeing of our younger members.
Honestly I seriously enjoyed the ride…and I was more than happy to trundle along at my own pace!!
