Not had much response yet. Ironman want to know if we have the numbers for the feed station. Apparently they are 200 volunteers short for the day.
So if you don’t fancy being on the feed station you could volunteer to be a marshall somewhere on the course.

Jan is busy baking for the refreshments down the Quay. If you were thinking not to bother to cycle tomorrow. Think again. Trust me, it will be worth the ride down for one of her cakes. And the weather looks good.

Hope so Dan. Weather forecast looking better now for sunday. I am planning on cycling down nice and easy. Anybody else? Shall we meet at Bloomfield at 7.30 to get down there for 8.30.

Would of been up for that Simon, but I am in Wilmslow getting ready for the Cheshire Cobbled Classic tomorrow. It’s got 12 cobbled sections ranging from flat to the steepest cobbled hill in Britain at 45%!! Looked interesting when I booked it, not so sure now!!

Good turn out today. 26 entries, 6 or 7 dynamos, not a bad show. Very well done to Julie for being the fastest lady up the hill.
On a sour note, Mat, Julie and I cycled up, and on the descent of gelli hill, Mat hit a pot hole and came off hard. Lots of road rash. His wife had to take him to casualty. Hope your ok Mat. Hopefully not too long before we see you back on the bike.

I`m planning on riding up Mat, unless work gets in the way. But I think Jan will be there, so it might be bike in the back of car for the home leg.

It looks like I will have a spare entry as well. Work prevails on the Saturday. Still planning on meeting up Friday for the narcar. I will cycle about half way with you and turn back.

I don’t think Huw can make it either, so you need to find some one who will take your bags up. The last few years it has been Jan and Helen but obviously they won`t be going either. Sorry.
