MemberI`d like to say a big thank you to the Rotary club for organising this event. Really enjoyed the day with a cracking route. And a fantastic turn out of Dynamos. Brilliant.

MemberHas any Dynamos entered this? If so then hope to see you this Saturday. Have to give it a blast to avoid the rain in the afternoon.

MemberIf there are any dynamos not taking part but would like to help out that would be great. I got Ian, Kim, Pete and myself. We need 6 in total, 3 at the bottom and 3 at the finish to help out with time keeping, holding the bikes at the start and moving the bikes along after they finish (with oxygen!).
We have also got to help with putting barriers up. I will be there from 5pm. Thanks.
Also, just a reminder to all who are entering, you must be there by 6pm to register, which will be at the bottom of the hill opposite to the turn off for herons Brook. You can park in herons brook car park if need be. The road will be closed from 6pm. The police have said we can`t even cycle down it. So please be there early. Ta.butcherboy
MemberLooking wet for tomorrow. Shall we see how it is in the morning if we are still going to do it. But if too wet then no one will turn up any way.

MemberI will also be there.

MemberSorry Pete I know this post is closed but I have been away for a couple of weeks and feel I must say something.
The feed back you have had as been generally positive. I think you should keep posting Sunday routes and it would be a good idea if members could let us all know by Saturday evening through the forum if they are going to ride it. It is awkward when, with so many of us want to achieve different goals on our bikes. I am as guilty as anyone with this. I want to get to a level before I get too old!(stop sniggering).
I disagree that the club will fold with out Sunday rides. Admittedly we are not having any social nights out or long rides together any more (narcar had only 3 do it this year). But after excellent numbers for turbo training last winter we now have a strong ladies/beginners ride. Which I have been trying to get since we started the club.
It was a shame that only 4 turned up for our AGM last month. That was the time to sort out any issues with the club. I think we are going to try and reorganise the meeting for October. All the officer posts are up for grabs. If there are members who have some time and energy to take the club forward then please make every effort to attend.
I was fearful 12/18 months ago that the club would fall by the wayside but this summer I am confident the club will survive.
We all want a club to identify with and I personally, am very proud to wear the Dynamos top and when entering any rides that I put the Dynamos club next to my name.butcherboy
MemberI saw this a couple of weeks ago. I am planning on doing this.

MemberHope all Dynamos riding this morning had a safe and enjoyable ride. Spotted a couple of Dynamos amongst the 14,000! Rode most of the route with James Mc. Apart from getting wet and cold coming off the Tumble, I really enjoyed it.
Another great event, well organised again I thought. Love closed roads.butcherboy
MemberI have just entered the Gran Fondo Double Devil. Goes up Devils staircase and Devils elbow. 121 miles 12,227ft climbing. Should be fun!!
Starts from Builth Wells Sunday 29th May. Anyone else riding this one?butcherboy
MemberMy son Tomas will be going to Cardiff on Friday.
He can take your bags up for you. (As long as there isn’t too many of you, he’s only got a Clio!). I will arrange to be in Bloomfield car park to meet you all at 8.45am. Still not sure wether I can cycle at least half way with you guys yet.
He will be getting to Cardiff around 4.30-5pm. He will go straight to the premier hotel for you and if you haven’t arrived by then perhaps he can leave them in reception for you all.
You will have to arrange for your bags to be taken back to Tenby. I think that Carten will do that for you. Better check in case you need to book that.
If that’s ok for you all. If you get a better offer that’s fine. -
