MemberSadly swapping from a triple to compact you may have to also change your front leaver, however I’m sure Nick will fill you in.

MemberMatt,
It’s basically the start of this ride but in reverse,

At 5pm(ish) I don’t see much in it but would be slightly more direct/flatter for the final run in.

MemberOther option for riders who have not got a room yet would be Premier Inn Cardiff South which is less than 500m away and room are still £29.

MemberPete,
I’ve always been a member of British Cycling so I can’t comment on CTC which I believe is more for social riders.
The club is now associated with BC and should the worse happen it might be more beneficial to be linked to the same set of solicitors/insurance etc.
What ever you decide, better to be covered than not.

MemberMatt,
I’ve been a member of British Cycling for a number of years and sadly there is no such thing as reduced membership for club members. (And sadly it used to be a lot cheaper a couple of years ago).
They do promotions to encourage new membership such as one ending this week for a free training journal (use code TRAIN14) on check out.
The main thing to consider are the benefits against the cost of £32. (mainly the public liability, legal cover etc). I’ve also taken advantage of free entry to sportives, priority tickets to Olympics/world cup events etc) as well as money off at various shops.

MemberI’ve heard that the only way of getting a Narberth Dynamos jersey is to go to the back street markets of Bethesda where you might find some of the knock off Chinese versions.
