    The 2013/2014 Membership is now due. At the AGM it was agree that it should be increased to £12.00 for this year and a new junior rate of £6.00 for the under 18’s has been introduced.

    We have also agree to affiliate to the BCF as well as the CTC.

    Hi Ian

    How does this affect those who joined in May and Paid the £10 Member fee?  Let me know if you want me to send the £2 in.  Sorry I couldn’t make the AGM.  Will be out on rides again soon, getting busy with the little one due in 5 weeks but mainly some tendonitis in the knee causing dramas!

    Was there a motion to move to Rapha shirts?  If not how can I get a club shirt?

    Are we now affiliated to British cycling ? How do you get reduced cost membership

    I’ve been a member of British Cycling for a number of years and sadly there is no such thing as reduced membership for club members. (And sadly it used to be a lot cheaper a couple of years ago).

    They do promotions to encourage new membership such as one ending this week for a free training journal (use code TRAIN14) on check out.

    The main thing to consider are the benefits against the cost of £32. (mainly the public liability, legal cover etc). I’ve also taken advantage of free entry to sportives, priority tickets to Olympics/world cup events etc) as well as money off at various shops.
