MemberHi All, looks like I will be around for that weekend so you can book me in for 2 slots, I am sort of flexible with times so let me know when you need me, but as I used to say down in Texaco, call me what you want, but don’t call me after midnight! (or before 6am)

MemberWe can’t make it this year, 10th Nov is our daughter’s birthday, maybe catch up with you on a Sunday ride or Turbo session when I’m home. Oh the joys of working away!

MemberFor those staying in the Premier Inn in Cardiff, they do a Meal Deal for £22 which includes a 3 course evening meal with a drink (beer, wine or soft drink)plus a breakfast.
See you all on Friday!

MemberFirstly can I say that I was one of the 6 out on Sunday and for a very short time I was almost convinced that I must have been the “ very strong cyclist” unknown to Sweaty Eds as I’m not a Matt, Graham or Celia.
I should have realised sooner that he must have had me down as a Matt, dam, and I felt so proud of myself thinking that the months of training and changing my compact had actually paid off. However I would like to say that for the first time ever I managed to get up Pendine Hill without stopping.
The rest of the ride (without Sweaty Eds) was also very enjoyable despite the cold weather and was remarkably uneventful with no spectacular crashes or punctures to report.
Between Marros and Summerhill we were all stuck behind a tractor and trailer which slowed us down a bit. Some of us had the good sense to slow down a little going out of Amroth towards Summerhill, thus avoiding having to stop on the hill while the tractor waited for traffic, nothing to do with being a slow hill climber.
From there back to Tanners Lane we all stuck together, Matt G and myself headed east towards Tavernspite and home while the rest make their way back to Narberth. A very pleasant ride and back home by 11:30 for me to work in the garden for the rest of the day.

MemberI can make it tomorrow, going out at 2pm for lunch, guess we will be back well before then.
I’ve been given this site to look at: http://www.strava.com/ looks like it might be of some use to those with smart phones.
See you all tomorrow.

MemberButcherboy, I will speak to the boss tonight and find out if she is coming up to Cardiff, I can’t imagine she will miss a trip to be near the big shops! Will let you know soon. I’m sure the girls will have time for a few hours around the shops and still be able to meet us half way with some refreshments.
Training going well over here in France, got a couple of rides done and still a week to go, just got to hope the weather is kind to me.

MemberNot sure if I will be around for the Carten (I hope so), but I have registered on-line and paid. Jon has now got by shirt back from last year, so all being well I can join you.
I think I’m up for the ride to Cardiff on the Friday, but I will have to get some miles in before, 63 is the most I’ve ever done and that nearly killed me! Andrew, can I take one of the rooms you have booked if they are still available?
See you in a few weeks.
