Peter Palmer (organiser) has kindly kept us 20 places for us for the next week or so.

And if you want to pay by cheque you can drop it in to me and i will give them to Jon in Tenby, just make sure you print out a copy of your registration to go with the cheque.

Just an idea to raise money for the club. Would anybody be interested in cycling up to Cardiff on the Friday, staying over and then cycling back to Tenby on the Saturday.

If we got sponsorship we could give half to a charity and half for the club.

Any one interested please put on forum or let me know.

Could be tempted to do the prologue as long as you don’t go too fast.

Hi all

Just to clarify an important point regarding the Carten ride. Had a word with Peter today and passing on what was said.

Even if you registered and got the email back confirming this, this was only to say you have been added to the list. Entry is only confirmed upon receipt of your payment. Payment needs to be received by the organisers within two weeks of you being added to the entry list, so to avoid disappointment get your money in. Even if you chose to drop it in the shop, I still need it within the two weeks.

This is due to the high demand to enter the ride (150 places gone by lunchtime today!!) so places cannot be held without payment when others are wanting to enter. So, get your money to me (with the confirmation email they sent you attached) or a cheque in the post, or a bacs payment.

I have provisonally booked 5 double rooms at the premier inn, Cardiff central for Friday May 11th, 1 night. £76 per room (£38 each). I propose we leave Narberth at 8 o`clock, cycle up nice and gently get to Cardiff by 4. Nice meal and a couple of pints.

Janice has offerd to drive up later on Friday with all our bags and meet us at the hotel.

I too am interested in the prologue. Every peloton needs a lanterne rouge. Perhaps Roger will catch me up if he sets off after his morning surgery then I can pace him back to the main pack.

Not sure if I will be around for the Carten (I hope so), but I have registered on-line and paid. Jon has now got by shirt back from last year, so all being well I can join you.

I think I’m up for the ride to Cardiff on the Friday, but I will have to get some miles in before, 63 is the most I’ve ever done and that nearly killed me! Andrew, can I take one of the rooms you have booked if they are still available?
