Butcherboy, I will speak to the boss tonight and find out if she is coming up to Cardiff, I can’t imagine she will miss a trip to be near the big shops! Will let you know soon. I’m sure the girls will have time for a few hours around the shops and still be able to meet us half way with some refreshments.

Training going well over here in France, got a couple of rides done and still a week to go, just got to hope the weather is kind to me.

To all those staying at the premier inn on the friday night. They have offered us breakfast on the saturday morning. Continental to start at 6am and full english to start at 6 30. The cost is £8. I suggest we take them up on this offer. But they do need to know before hand on numbers. Can you let me know please.

I haven’t finalised my plans yet but the above is giving cause for concern..would the YMCA be any safer I wonder? I agree with Ian…wrong forum ….but as I’m no homophobe..may we should have a “special” branch of the dynamos….of course the kit would have to be “special”..pink and black perhaps?…like the Velos…….? hey …you don’t think they’re all…”special”..?

If Janice has dropped out, does this affect the ferrying of our kit up to Cardiff? As Andrew’s new squeeze, will Clover now be in charge of logistics?

Alternatively, we could adopt a handicap system with each rider carrying kit according to ability. I suggest Andrew and Huw take the bulky items such as our dinner jackets, shoes, iron etc, Kim and Ian could look after pyjamas, Flapjackman, of course, will be carrying provisions and I will gladly take the club washbag with the communal toothbrush and showergel.

(NB. I am assuming that Clover will be so weighed down with ‘toys’, ‘aids’ and role-play dressing-up gear, in preparation for his and Andrew’s night of ‘topping and tailing’, that he won’t be able to join the handicap.)

8 proper breakfasts and 2 beetroot juice and rocket leaf for the veggies.

The hotel has said we can keep our bikes in the room overnight as long as they are not dirty. Sweaty has kindly offered to carry a sponge up with him. And he will wash our bikes before they can be tucked away to bed.

Huw and i will sort out a route up and post on the forum this week.
