    “Bloody cold” that’s an understatement Sweaty! But, it was a very enjoyable day out. 43.4 MPH descending into Carew, there’s never a speed camera when you need it. At least I missed the white van after the bridge… More Turbo pain courtesy of NB on Tuesday then…

    Thanks ValleyMan. I went to NB’s tonight and did some more bonkers turbo. Never seen my Garmin to so high. Anyway I’m going to bail on going out tomorrow. It’s going to be wet/windy etc anyway.

    Hello All,

    Because (I was always told at school never to start a sentence with because, or and but that’s another story) my legs were aching after last nights Turbo Tuesday onslaught I was looking though http://www.facebook.com/DaffodilChallenge where quite a few pics have surfaced. I did see quite a few of our Chair, Sweaty, Ants, Slinky and others. Nick also put up a video of the start and going up the hill before err ‘Mechanical Difficulties’ surfaced.

    I throughrouly enjoyed today. The 8 blokes deciding which way to go (Pete and I stayed out of that one :?) north of Maenclochog and Flapjack’s scenic tour of Spittal. I was pretty gone by the end. Maybe I should consider a smaller inside chainring as my bike is fitted with a double or get up earlier and have breakfast!

    Anyway, the weather was tropical 10.7 C average according to my Garmin (that bit was for Roger). Thank you to our Chairman for His kind words, looks like the turbo sessions over the winter are starting to take effect.

    Bring it on…

    Well, not being in the habit of checking the forum before I set out, I departed Bloomfield on my own. All I can say at this juncture is Lightweights, the lot of you! :P

    I did my Carew loop, 24miles, 606m gain and 0c to 2.4c according to Garmin.

    Have now registered my interest on the Carten site and with Flapjack so see you all in May, hopefully, maybe even Sunday too…
