Will keep Roger amused with his new toy and fixation with temperature. Hope it does minus numbers…

If you go down to the woods tomorrow you’re sure to have a surprise – The Slinky Otter on a mountain bike.

If the shit hits the fan and the MASSIVE freeze predicted for tonight makes the roads unrideable, how about we hit CanastonMinwear woods for a spot of mountain biking?

I agree…big mistake to risk going out tomorrow….I’ve got an expensive holiday next weekend so I’m not risking it

Shall we say 10am in Bloomfield? It should me nice and hard and if we have a few numbers we can play ‘the challenges’ game! I’ve got a spare bike if anyone wants to borrow.

Thats the plan then everyone, bloomfield at 10am. Valleyman if you fancy a slice, we’ll be passing your house so we can give you a knock on the way past?

Well, not being in the habit of checking the forum before I set out, I departed Bloomfield on my own. All I can say at this juncture is Lightweights, the lot of you! :P

I did my Carew loop, 24miles, 606m gain and 0c to 2.4c according to Garmin.

Me and slinky met at Bloomfield on our mountain bikes ,I was 5minutes late as I was with the butcher boy buying his finest chickens .we did see some tracks in the snow in Bloomfield so we knew somebody had turned up at 9,well done stoned itch. The two off us set down cardamale lane and when we got to mr and mrs valley man house there they were heading to the shed for a session on the turbo.we had a quick chat ,but could not get them out on the mountain bikes.we got into canaston woods and enjoyed a couple of loops around the woods through all the shit and water but I loved it.thanks to slinky for a great morning and makes a nice change to get off the road.
