Man flu has taken me down since the Daffodil..in fact…I may not survive the day…will have to skip tonight’s turbo session…have a good one everybody!

Sorry I missed another flapjack opportunity….having been out 2 Sundays in a row I had to attend to some emergency roof repairs this Sunday just gone..looking forward to next Sunday when it looks like the Dynamos are owed a few hills….

Sadly the mechanical failures mentioned were not the only ones. I destroyed the crank bearings and I simply could not turn the pedals after Pendine Hill…no really..nothing to do with legs….they’ve completely locked…..day ended with Vicki rescuing me….once again the most important tool in the kit….a mobile phone

Off to John tomorrow for new bottom bracket…may miss more turbo sessions..

….at least I tasted the best flapjack ever..made by my futrue second “wife”

I thought it was only going to be off roaders this Sunday…..Ian and kim ,you could have come and had a gentle pre Christmas ride with me as remarkably Vicki gave me a pass having worked 10 hours for the Out of Hours service on yesterday:

That’s very sad news Ian…I’m being a taxi driver in the wee small hours to be there on Sunday….this could have been the time that we could team up and get the jump on Andrew..opportunity lost!

I cycled to Aberdare on friday and came adrift from my bike on a roundabout with 20 miles to go…my knee has complained ever since…. I may need a replacement….I’m not having steel..I’m sure there’s a carbon fibre version out there somewhere…

Point taken..how could I be so foolish as to not understand fully the mechanism whereby sharks would be circling your farmhouse in rural Pembrokehire?

Leg is much improved but during the time taken to see this improvement Vicki has managed to book me up with responsibilities during the next few weekends..I’m off to deliver a snowboard to Liverpool this weekend…there is a chance that we might be coming back on saturday…and therefore an outside chance of making an appearance on Sunday…as long as you periodically wait for me!

Now you’re just being silly….sharks are of course salt water dwellers..I think that taking into account climatic change, piranhas are much more likely..

The mild dry Sunday mornings will cease when I’m permitted to and fit enough to go back on the road..then an new ice age will emerge ..with ice covering the roads for months and polar bears roaming those roads looking for cyclist prey

Whilst in hospital I had a few tests done….I’m lactose intolerant and also the dinner needs to be gluten free and free of nuts..in this last week I’ve become a Jewish Muslim Hindu and therefore I can’t eat pork or beef…ah If I’m Jewish that means I can’t leave the house after nightfall on a friday….me thinks life is getting complicated..its enough to drive one to drink…oh no..I forgot I’ve become a Methodist as well…
