Only two veteran members made it out on Sunday !! Mutterings about” kids today “could be heard !

We went in search of our friends from the north , a dangerous trek in the summer let alone in deepest winter,but to no avail. We did pass a very strange cat as we cycled through middle earth (Llangolman) but no other sign of intelligent life !

A good ride nevertheless!

What is wrong with the youth of today ?? Just a little wet weather and they pull the duvet over their heads !! Only two old codgers turned out on Sunday and one of them stayed in his car !!

Some training with the Navy Seals is in order !!

Belated ride report !! Eight riders from the start on a pleasant morning ! Refreshing to see a good age range ,from 17/18 (Tom and Gwenllian) to quite a lot older !!  Flapjack assumed leadership and proceeded to lead with great skill and sensitivity,nurturing all the group throughout the ride.

Enjoyable and uneventful with an impromptu stop at the new bike friendly cafe in Pembroke.( next door to Londis-not far from the rugby club). It has been started by Rhys Jordan and hopefully will flourish: all abilities welcomed and no prerequisites such as shaved legs !
