The is a thread to discuss the Tour of Pembrokeshire on 12 June 2011 starting in Saundersfoot. Who is doing this is planning on doing this?
Entries close on the Wednesday 8th June
Just registered for the long event…my dilema is whether or not to use my new bike..if it actually does get delivered tomorrow
go on you know you want to
no brainer, take the new toy for a spin!
Got to be done.
I know of quite a few Dynamos riding this. It would be nice to meet up for a couple of club photo`s before the off. We should try and meet up at the start at say 7 15. See you all Sunday.
Weather looks terrible 😥
Best of luck to everyone in the club riding on Sunday. I can’t join you I’m afraid, I’m having an op on my nose on Monday and the surgeon doesn’t think slogging around Pembrokeshire in the pouring rain will be ideal preparation. He does assure me, however, that I will be able to breathe through my nose afterwards which will surely help my cycling. Now, if only I can persuade him to do some liposuction on my belly and dampen down my sweat glands and maybe if he could clone Andrew Rees’s legs and graft them on….
Weather does look bad, but I’ve convinced myself it will change!

Love The Rain, Live Your Dream
no it’s going to be horrible but hey! Let’s go for it anyway!
Doubt I’ll put in a record time but I’m sure going to beat last year’s time!
Enjoy all, see you on Sunday!
I am sorry I am not riding
I have entered so if anyone wants my entry feel free
Good luck to all doing it
Registered, Got my number, all I need to do now is work out how to fit a brollie on my bike – any ideas – Should be a good outing despite the weather
might swap my Cycle Sunglasses for swimming goggles! Hard to believe looking out of the window now that in 12 hours it will be so horrid!
I hope no one drowned today
We nearly drowned and to top it off nearly blown off Neyland Bridge.
Soaked through, Ian & I road together, did the short route in 4:36. Andrew & Roger shot off not to be seen again. Saw Dylan & Graham at the feed station and again at the finnish. I will leave the more detailed report of the day to Valleyman. See you all on the midweek ride.
