Pembrokeshire Bikes are offering a bike fit workshop to Narberth Dynamos members, see below. There will be no charge for this service.
Pembrokeshire Bikes would like to invite members of the Narberth Dynamos to a free Bike fit workshop.
The workshop will include,
Why a bike fit is important
Identifying a poor fit, injuries & niggles
Reasons for a poor fit, injuries & niggles
Cleat positioning and balance pointsThe workshops will be held after Christmas on a Wednesday. As it is exclusive to Narberth Dynamo members we would like each group to decide on a time that is best for them, daytime or evening. Max number of 6 per group.
Kit needed – Bike, shoes, summer kit, towel and water bottle. If you have your own turbo feel free to bring it up (not essential). Shower facilities available in the shop
Please post your interest below.
(Mat, I know Aldi probably do something similar, better and cheaper but just try to roll with it this once.)

November 20, 2014 at 5:00 pm #27804The Slinky OtterMemberIs this a ‘this is why you need to buy a bike fit session from us’ or are they going to actually fit you on your bike?

I’ve asked Tom from Pembs Bikes to answer your question.

November 30, 2014 at 6:56 am #27833PembsBikesMemberHi all, apologies for replying so late.
Firstly just to mention after reading the first post it looks like it has to be the Wednesday after Xmas but what we meant by that is it will be held on Wednesdays and doesn’t matter which one just as long as it is after Xmas.
Secondly, yes we will be fitting you to your bike using two methods one being cleat position and the other saddle balance point. It wont be a comprehensive fit as that is a long process but our aim is to get you guys understanding what goes into bike fitting and the depths you can delve into!
Anymore questions please let me know on here or email me – Tom@pembrokeshirebikes.co.uk

February 13, 2015 at 5:59 pm #28008Sweaty EdsMemberTom has suggested Wednesday 4th March for the bike fit workshop. I think Andrew Wright, Graham, Johnny Mad Doig, Our Glorious Chairman and, hopefully, my Sweaty Self will be attending and enjoying a complimentary buffet of the finest champagne and ethically farmed beluga caviar as well as measuring our most private dimensions.
Anyone else fancy it?

See above for kit etc that you will need.
The session is free…. well, free in monetary terms, Pembrokeshire Bikes will obviously own your soul afterwards.
