Dear Club Secretary,
The first ever Welsh Cycle show is being held at the Wales National Velodrome, on the 5th and 6th April. It is an exciting opportunity to see the latest bikes, and cycling products, with exhibitors from all areas of cycling, and some big names, including Bianchi, Condor, Trek and Willier, amongst many others.
Welsh Cycling has worked with the show organisers to bring a great opportunity to affiliated clubs. The show organisers have made a generous offer to support clubs, by donating £2 per advance ticket bought by your members, which will be given directly to your club as a lump sum (based on how many of your members attend the show, and register the club name at the entry gate). So, the more members of your club that attend, the more money your club gets back. To take advantage of this offer, you simply need to encourage your members buy their tickets for the show in advance (at http://merlin.primo-solutions.co.uk/ps/event/WelshCycleShow5thand6thApril), and they must also tell the person on the admission gate what club they are a member of. Please note – tickets bought on the day are not eligible for either offer.
The show organisers would like to refund the clubs direct, and have asked for contact details for club secretaries. If you would prefer that we did not share this information, please let me know by responding to this email.
In addition to this, your members might also be interested in participating in our ‘Love Wales, Love Cycling’ photo competition. We have four tickets to give away for the photo that best captures what cycling in Wales means to you, but you’ll need to submit your entry by March the 28th.
