This wednesday we will ride route 6. which is the wisemans bridge loop. see you at 6.
Weather looks good
well the weather was good and we had a record number out.( lost count at 16.) Hope you all enjoyed the ride! big up to John Goble who had done no more than 14 miles before tonight and he rode 18 very hilly miles. Im sure he was cursing me under his breath at the top of Wisemans Bridge hill!! try to avoid too many hills next week.
Good turnout but where did everyone go? I want to make the point that the Colby Gardens – Amroth circuit was not part of Route 6 and it added 2 more hard hills to an already hilly route! Which way did you go Andrew? Maybe we should add management of group rides to our agenda for Friday … or maybe we just need more practice!
Perhaps next Wednesday we can arrange a flatter course, so we can keep the newer members in the club. it was fair to say that was pretty hard for some.
Just checked the map Kim and you are right colby is not on the route. Sorry. my eyesight is useless. I did shout out the route at the start, i wish someone would of said something. I stayed back with John and we missed out colby so ironically we did the proper route. We will pick a flater ride next week. We do need better mamagement of groups. It is something we need to organise within the club. We will sort it out by next wednesday.
Kim
i went home to watch the football, only just back in time for kick off!!
Fair Enough!
Sorry Andrew, next time I’ll pay more attention to your route instructions. See you tomorrow night.
my son Sam was happy because he kicked my ====
Andrew can’t make the meeting on friday because i’m picking my camper van
I am sure the sight of the 17% sign at the bottom of Colby to get up the hill, some must have been thinking what we have let ourselves in for
I have spoken to John and Derek they will be coming next Wednesday, we have not put them off
Hi
Glad to see we are not the only ones who go the wrong way sometimes. I plot the routes and haven’t got a clue where I’m going. I rely on the others. I’m stuffed if they get it wrong.
