Finally put my hand in my pocket to book for Le Tour in Yorkshire.
Travelling up lunchtime on Thursday 3rd July and heading home late Sunday evening.
After looking at a number of camping options I’ve decided to opt for the Rapha Tempest festival which is one of the cheapest (£85), but does include outdoor cinema, demonstrations, live bands (including Lighting Seeds, I am Kloot, The Enemy, Echo & the Bunnymen and others TBC).
3 miles from stage one (although planning on also cycling to the finish (20 miles) and 10 miles from stage 2. With a ride into the dales on Friday and weekend mornings.
Let me know if anyone else is serious about heading “up t’north”.
