Weather not looking good tomorrow, see who turns up and plan a route from there, i am sure Ian or Matt can think of something
huw we still appreciate the routes – just do little tweaks to them!
Weather looks good now I suggest south side – along coast as dont think my fillings can take north roads
if no one suggests anything else tavernspite – llandowrow laugharne – pendine – amroth – saundersfoot – snady hill – pentlepoir – – cresselly – lawrenny – landshipping – narberth
Any brave souls venture out today? My son thought he saw 2 Dynamos climbing Pendine hill.
Indeed he did. 8 started and 6 finished a shortened route due to the weather. If we had started at 0900 it would have been just been Mr and Mrs ValleyMan. How times change…
Luckily we were joined by Graham, Dicon (apologies if spelling is wrong), Mark, Dr Mac (making a welcome return to the fold) Andrew and Route Coordinator Mat.
I can only conclude we have turned into a fair-weather time-trialling club. Still spare a thought for Celia doing her first half Ironman on Exmoor…
I managed to gaffer tape my bike together enough to take on a the Pembs Tri bike route down in Broadhaven. Its was horrendously wet and id forgotten my helmet so it was all a bit softy softly. Its a really nice route for though who have not been on it. 27 miles. Shame about the ugly 10k run after it.
Any news from Celia? I looked at the first 5 or so girls out of the water and it was all the Pro’s who featured in last years IM Wales, Mullen etc
