    Dear Narberth Dynamos CC,

My name is Andrew Jones and I’m currently studying for a Research Masters in Sports Physiology at Aberystwyth University. I would like to bring the following cycling study to your attention, and other members of your cycling club. I am presently recruiting for participants in a study entitled: Changes in body composition in competitive cyclists over a season.

    Here what is required:
    · Aged 20-50 male/or female
    · Must train regularly
    · No bone related illnesses / conditions

    You will need to:

    · Visit the department of Sport and Exercise Science at Aberystwyth University on two occasions, one in early January, and late March 2015
    · Undergo a body composition scan on each visit (last for 15 minutes)
    · Perform a maximal exercise (VO2max) test on your initial visit

What do you get out of it:

    · Free detailed analyses of your body composition (fat, muscle and bone mass and health)
    · Free VO2max test
    · Detailed and specific training zones to help you train at a higher accuracy
    · Your data will be reviewed by scientific experts
    · You can be part of a ground breaking scientific cycling study

Please reply to this email, or call 07807 782986 if you would like further information, or to sign up.

If you could circulate this email around your club, and any other cyclists that may be interested that would be much appreciated.

    Thanks for your time.

    Kind regards,

    Andrew Jones

Don’t know if anyone else has contacted Andrew about this but it sounds interesting to me. I have mailed him for some more info.
