The plan would be to drive to Afan Forest Park Visitor Centre and cycle from there. The route is 52 miles 4100 ft of climbing, it takes in all the big climbs, the first climb would be A4107 Afan Valley to summit of Bwlch, Turn left onto A4061 descend Bwlch mountain road to Treorchy, and the climb of the Rhigos mountain road, After the descent of the Rhigos towards Glynneath. then Cimla Hill, and back to Afan Forest Park, We will not be doing the Bwlch twice as per the Dragon ride.
