MemberWe are planning to do our annual Pembrokeshire coastal tour on the 23rd of this month starting from Narberth at approx 6.30am-7am.
Distance 150 miles with full Bwlch at 135 miles and 13,000 feet of elevation.
There will be plenty of opportunities to shorten the ride should we feel the need or run out of daylight! Also we will be stopping for lunch on the way round. The pace will be nice’n’easy just to try and get around.Anyone one else up for it?

MemberI’m thinking of meeting you in St Davids and will cycle to Cardigan, about 57 miles. If I can organise it, I would be happy to drive from Cardigan the rest of the way with bike and Physio couch to assist anyone with sore/aching limbs!

MemberOK, looks like there should be a fair few of us on Sunday, currently the weather looks terrible but it’s only Monday and will probably change by then.(fingers crossed!) I also think 130 miles is more achievable like last year due to the time of year a light etc…we can head back from Fishguard if that is the case. Or if you have any balls left! carry on to Poppit!
Last year I started at 6:45 from Llandissilio and it took 11:10 with approx 2 hours of stops. https://www.strava.com/activities/347421643
Rough timings are:
Angle 9:30 – 35miles (Snacks)
Broad Haven 12:00 – 70miles (Lunch)
St Davids: 14:00 – 85miles (Snacks & Prayers)
Fishguard 16:00 – 105miles (Massage if needed) Thanks Julie!
Tafarn Sinc 17:00 – 115miles (Nuts & Beers)
Narberth 18:15 – 130miles (Back before dark)So lets meet at Bloomfield at 7am, bring your lights as it will still be dark. I am also bringing a rucksack full of gear so I can take some kit off if it gets too warm, I am guessing it probably won’t do!
And Matt we can add in Colby and Amroth just for you.
