    Dear All

    Following a rather abortive attempt at holding an AGM last summer (4 of us turned up…) it was decided to rearrange for the end of the turbo sessions / start of the mid-week rides when you will all be brimming with enthusiasm. The AGM will therefore be held on Thursday 16 March 2017 at 7.00pm at Narberth Rugby Club.

    A notice of the AGM and Nomination Forms for Committee post can be downloaded here.

    The Secretary, Membership Secretary and Treasurer are standing down and the Club is therefore seeking nominations for Members to take up at least these posts. Please consider putting something back into the Club if you enjoy riding with us as without a few people willing to make a contribution the Club will struggle to function.

    We hope to see you on 16th.

    It is now less than a week to the AGM and on the closing date for nominations there were a grand total of 0 (zero, nil, none, bigger all) nominations recieved. This is fully consistent with the numbers received in advance of the AGM for the last 5 years, however, this time the Secretary, Membership Secretary and Treasurer are all standing down.

    In the circumstances we will allow nominations to be made at the AGM.

    Please consider putting yourself forward for one of theses posts as the Club does not and will not run itself.

    Great turn out for the agm. Thank you to all who attended. Also thanks to all who have offered to help this year.
    The club is in good shape. The minutes will be posted soon.

    Following agm I agreed to try an do something for the observer. I have talked to them. I will try to put a semi regular update on at least a monthly basis through the summer. So could you please put any details of rides you are doing in the next month and how you did in the previous month

    Yes lots of us did the TdShane. Don’t know everybody’s times but Jane, Si and I got back in around 4:40 – 4:45.
    I’m doing the Tour de Pembs 130 mile route with Jim Elliot this Friday 28th April (all welcome to join us for at least part of it!!) Also planning to do the Angel on Sunday. The following weekend (6th May) is CarTen – quite a few doing that and some of those who aren’t may ride to Llanelli then tag along back to Tenby. There are also the final two ToP rideouts that weekend. On Sunday 14th May it’s the Dambusters ride from Gelli Aur (a few of us have already signed up) which will be a nice prelude for the Tour of Pembs on 20th May. On the last Sunday in May (28th) it’s the Devil and also Aber Cycle fest in Aberystwyth, which I and a few Dynamos did a few years ago and is a cracking ride).

    A few of us are doing the Angel on the 30th April.
