As part of Civic Week, we are hosting an escorted ride of about 20 miles to try and attract new members. This will start at 0900 on Sunday 22 July at Bloomfield Car Park and it would be helpful if as many members as possible could turn up to help out.
Wearing club shirts would be a good idea and Fossa Sports at West Wales Business Park has a new stock if you need one!
There will be a prize draw for everyone who finishes the ride (club members excluded)and prizes donated so far include a digital Limux Camera donated by South Hook LNG, a meat voucher (no prizes for guessing where that came from) and a voucher from Jon Mills at Tenby Cycles.
We will be putting up posters in Narberth next week so please spread the work. If you would like a poster to put up at work, or anywhere else you can think of, let me know at info@www.narberthdynamos.co.uk or reply to this post.
Many thanks
Ian
July 19, 2012 at 6:45 pm #24832ValleyManMemberJust a quick reminder that this Sunday is the 20 mile bike ride we have organised as part of Civic week. Nice genrle pace that even Sweaty should be able to cope with! Could (should) also be the day that Wiggo wins the Tour de France so all in all a potentially great day for British Cycling.

Dear Narberth Dynamos
Just a quick note to say a huge thank you for the civic week bike ride last Sunday. I think if i had been 30lbs lighter and my bike 10 lbs lighter it might have been a bit easier -but it was thoroughly enjoyable all the same!!
My little boy had a fantastic time. Please pass on my thanks to all the club members who stuck with us at the back. Aled hasn’t stopped talking about the fact that he overtook one of your boys coming into Cresswell Quay -it made his day! And he had a huge cheer and he won a water bottle -a very successful day all round!
Thanks again and i think i’ll start training in anticipation for next year’s trip!

Also Jenny Greener raised £35.00 in donations for the Paul Sartori Foundation. The Club is also going to make a donation as a thank you for Jenny’s help. Several people have said that the Chocolate Cake was the best bit of the ride…
