As the nights draw in, the temperature drops and the rain lashes down you can draw comfort from the fact that we will be running the Tuesday Night Turbo Sessions again this Winter starting on 8th October 2013 at 7.30 at Bloomfield.
We have retained Nick Brown of NB Cycle Coaching again so you know what to expect….
The cost of the Sessions has been held at £3.00 with the same buy 10 get one free offer. We have quite a few Turbos as a Club, but given the numbers we had last year, please bring your own if you have one.
Any questions, post up here.
Presumably you need to be a club member to join the sessions?
Also, is there a standard turbo you recommend to bring along or will anything suffice?
Thanks
Native1 you don’t have to be a member to come along. Any turbo will do or you can use one of the Club ones.
Gee, more Russian steppes, cadence pyramids etc….. I can’t wait. 🙂
Bit of a cock up. Bloomfield thought we were starting turbo later in the month and have double booked the hall.
We can have the hall from 15th October.
So turbo will start Tuesday 15th October not the 8th.
Hope that`s clear to everyone. 15th NOT 8th.
Does one have to book a turbo or is there enough for everyone, don’t fancy coming down to a Turboless session!!
Mike the club owns around 20 turbos with other bringing their own. Last year we had about 30 attending so room was tight, priority given to those who group booked and members.
So who does one book with?
Turn up, Kim last year too the cash.
Just to remind all members who have their own turbos to bring them along.
We didn’t turn anyone away last season. We have 17 turbos which should be enough. But that said, I think it will be very popular this season. If we do run out then our regular members should come first.
We will sus it out over the first few weeks. As Nick will give you all homework to do, you might want to think about getting your own!
Mr Nick Brown is away this week so the session will be taken by Ollie Simon who if any of you don`t know is Pembrokeshire`s only professional triathlete. It will be interesting to see what he will bring to the session also maybe nice to hear a different voice shout at us.
It`s the last one before the xmas break. So it would be nice if we could fill the hall this week.
Sorry to say, won’t be there tomorrow…my recurring problem is back..which means no cycling for a few weeks..and no sitting down either!
Is turbo starting again tonight or is it next Tuesday?
Forgetfully yours …
Yes. Turbo starts back tonight.
