Clubmates.

Confession time. I have slightly exaggerated the properties of the new winter kit in an attempt to keep a jokey feel to the post in the hope this may avoid the posting of hair-trigger, ill-judged negative comments.

So to put the record straight.

The winter jersey will keep you warm in the winter. It is water repellent. It is mainly white in the club design. It costs £85.99. It will not do your ironing nor will it walk your dog. Sorry.

The arm warmers will keep you arms warm. They are black and red with Narberth Dynamos on them. It is true that they never need winding nor ironing but I made up the bit about them pushing on the hills. Sorry for any misunderstanding.

As an alternative, an award winning local butcher has given me some old warehouse coats. If you wear these backwards they are a little bit similar to the Tour de France presentation jerseys. They have pockets and quite large buttons. They are not particularly warm nor waterproof but I can sell them quite cheaply. You can write Narberth Dynamos (or any other club) on them in biro. For those so inclined you could also scrawl a random collection of letters and symbols on them in the same way.
