Sunday ride meet at Bloomfield at 9am
Route is P Gate, Red Roses top of Pendine pick up daffodil course all the way to Trelech, on to the junction, turn right for Newcastle Emlyn , Cenarth, Boncath, back on main road to Narberth 60 miles total
And a nice route it is too. Especially the road to Newcastle Emlyn. I think the Merlin Route comes up from Emlyn the opposite way. Talking of which, anybody entered the Merlin this year?
Not quite Mat. (Fathers day taking its toll?)Waited until 9.10 to pick the ride up at Utopia Junction, then set off on my own thinking that I might catch up tail enders or if in front of the group the fast boys would catch me up. Now I know why neither happened. Did the ride, nice route except for run down from Crymych, too much lunchtime traffic and nearly got minced by a milk tanker that didn’t want to slow down and pulled its back end in a bit tight. No computer on bike but got back at 1.05. Hope to see you all Tues evening.
Andrew, I’m thinking of entering the Emlyn on the Merlin Sportive. I’m away the Thurs Fri & Sat so I hope I will be in a fit state to ride on the Sunday.
