There are 2 more Rideouts this weekend. As these will be the last two before the big day, Jim Elliot who leads them is expecting quite a few people to turn up and has asked me to help lead the rides on both days, so that we can split into two groups if necessary. Be good to see a few more Dynamos there to support these rideouts, if you’re up for it. You’ll need to register on the ToP website. Saturday’s ride starts in Newport (Long St car park) and takes in the main hills of the 100 mile route. Sunday is the full revised 50 mile route starting in Crug Las.
Both start at 9.00 a.m.
Think I will be there as on Saturday will sign up Friday if the weather looks ok
Is anyone driving from Narberth on either day you could kindly give me &my bike a lift
I’m going though Narberth on the Saturday and could pick you up I don’t have a bike rack but could fit both bikes in the back of my car.
There is a slight route change for Saturday’s ride. At Blaenffos, continue to Crymych and turn right at the Crymych Arms. This avoids a very bad stretch of road, but adds a couple of miles to the overall distance.
On Sunday’s ride, the 50 mile route has been changed to go from Middlemill into St David’s via the Sustrans Route 4 through Whitchurch and from St David’s rugby club via the coast road rather than the A487 back to Crug Glas.
These are the revised routes:
