And yes, I’m guilty for not wearing club colours, in hindsight white was a good idea. I also learned that aluminium Trek’s are faster than Carbon Cervelo’s well, unless NB is riding his!

Nick has asked me to say that he thinks you are an amazing athlete and a wonderful human being. And he has offered to come round and personally shave your legs for you. Then you will be able to ride as quick as he does.

He has also offered to get his kit off for you!

So you can try it on. Then there will be no stopping you.

Time on course 9.36, moving time 8.53. 15mins off last years time.

No probs number was 987 surname rodriguez. Not particuarly flattering on the climb of devils elbow!

Main triumph was going no handed through several parts of the course with out falling off!

That’s interesting Butcher Boy. My post event communication with Nick had a somewhat different content! He suggested we do the Bowland Badass Sportive…Up you up for it?….167 miles and 15,000 feet of climbing…I’m actually thinking of targeting it for next summer. Have a look …with your new bike it would be a piece of cake…you may however have to shave your legs..
