So for me…
The 100 milers (Andrew, Flapjack, Roger and Huw) started just after 7. It was pretty cold, my car said 6 Deg C, and blowy. After poking fun and an extraordinarily large tripod we swiped our chips and headed off.

All went well for the first 3 miles before the proverbial whip was cracked and Andrew, Roger & Flapjack disappeared. Huw and I continued off together until somewhere between Newport and Poppit Sands where the Mallorca legs took over and off he went too. Now this isn’t a sob story I really enjoyed today. The Bwlch and Gwaun valley were ok. I found Llanychaer and the hill before St Dogmaels very tough. The wind was the worst bit for me.

Anyway I did enjoy today and didn’t have to get off and walk, which was nice, until 4 miles before St Davids. Where a Tele handler took up the entire road and MatG, Myself and 12 others had to carry our bikes over our heads to get past the bloody thing. Certainly the toughest ride I have done to date

Distance: 108.06 miles
Time 9hrs 22mins
Elevation Gain: 3,368 m
Calories: 3,592 C
Max Speed: 54.0 mph

crap time but, in my defence it was bloody windy
My reputation is assured, well the decending bit anyway.
