    Following conversations on last nights club ride.

    Home made energy drink:
    Squash (your choice of flavour)
    7 heaped teaspoons sugar
    a pinch of salt
    water

    Flapjacks:
    The original recipe on the forum from Richard.
    Ingredients:
    175g Salted Welsh butter
    50g Caster sugar
    150g Golden syrup
    250g Rolled oats
    25g Chopped prunes
    25g Dried cranberries
    25g Chopped walnuts or other seeds/nuts

    Put butter, sugar & syrup in a large pan and melt over low heat stirring occasionally until smooth and combined. Add the remaining ingredients and stir until thoroughly combined.
    Turn the mixture into a lined 200mm square tin and bake for 20 minutes at 180 C.
    Leave to cool slightly, cut into bit size squares, leave to fully cool.
