In conjunction with The Queens Hall Narberth, we are running some charity Turbo sessions. These will help to raise money for various Charities and the Queens Hall. Our first charity will be The Cystic Fibrosis Trust which is very close to Merrilee and Chris Phillips heart. Their daughter Mia has Cystic Fibrosis and they know first hand how much every penny raised can help people live as normal a life as possible and with research into CF.
So please join us for the first of our challenges. These won’t be your normal Turbo sessions though, they will be Dvd based, projected onto a full size cinema screen giving you the feeling of actually being there. Each session lasts for approx 4 hours and will cover Hills, Mountain Climbs, TT’s, Sprints, Speed intervals etc and more hills!! A bit of everything, like a small Tour De France ?
The first one is on Sunday 13th August and will start at 9-10am (to be confirmed). The cost is £10 per person which all goes to the above charities and places are limited to around 50. You don’t have to do the whole 4 hours if you don’t want to, just do what you can. It will be instucted throughout the same as any other Turbo/Indoor Cycling/Spin session, just a bit bigger and lots of great music. We can even put together a list of song suggestions.
All you need to bring is a Turbo Trainer your bike, a Mat for under your bike, a towel and plenty to drink.
Let me know if you want to come along as this is open to anyone and for a very good cause.
